About the McKesson Radiology™ Disc application

This section describes the McKesson Radiology™ Disc application.

You may export study images and information from your McKesson Radiology Station™ workstation to a removable media or a folder accessible from another workstation.

You can also send study images and information from a McKesson Radiology Station™ workstation to a third-party disc publishing device that provides automated disc burning and labeling capabilities. This depends on the McKesson Radiology™ configuration at your site.

The McKesson Radiology™ Disc application enables you to display the study images and information on a workstation that cannot access the McKesson Radiology Station™ application.

Typically, the McKesson Radiology™ Disc application is used if you want to view study images at home, where you cannot access the McKesson Radiology Station™ application.

Note: McKesson Radiology™ may not provide multilingual support, depending on its configuration. If the multilingual support is not available in your medical institution, follow the relevant instructions that describe how to use the English version of McKesson Radiology™.

There are two types of McKesson Radiology™ Disc viewers:

Both viewers are portable. They may be copied to removable media, such as CDs.
