Customizing the viewer

This section describes how to customize pages displayed by the Quick Viewer.

Overview of customization

The Quick Viewer uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The CSS specify the following characteristics of the pages displayed by the viewer:

Your local system administrator may customize the appearance of the Quick Viewer pages by modifying the CSS.

Note: The CSS file should be modified only by personnel familiar with HTML tags and CSS concepts.

Steps for this task

To customize the appearance of the Quick Viewer pages:

  1. At the McKesson Radiology™ server, open the Quick Viewer CSS file style.css using a text editor, such as Windows® Notepad.

    2. The file is located at the following path:

    <ALI_SITE_CONFIG_PATH>\MIDiscView\data\ali\HTML\

    Note: <ALI_SITE_CONFIG_PATH> represents the folder where McKesson Radiology™ configuration files are stored. For more information, contact McKesson Support.

  2. Modify the appropriate settings.
  3. Save the CSS file.

    Note: Modifications made to the CSS file affect all copies of the Quick Viewer that are exported from McKesson Radiology Station™.
