Procedure for exporting

This section describes how to export the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer from Horizon Rad Station™ Advanced to removable media or a folder accessible from your workstation.

To export the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer:

  1. Log in to Horizon Rad Station™ Advanced.
  2. Click the Studies icon on the main toolbar. The Study list is displayed.

  3. Double click the study you want to export images from. The study is displayed.
  4. Click the image you want to export. To select additional images, CTRL+Click the other images.
  5. Click the Disk icon on the main toolbar.

  6. From the menu that is displayed, select one of the following options:
  7. Or, instead of steps 4- 6, right click an image, point to Disk Import/Export, and then select the option of your choice.

    Note: Whether the Disk Import/Export option is displayed in the right-click menu depends on the right-click preferences configured for your user account.

    The Export dialog box is displayed, along with its Summary page.

  8. Click the Viewers tab. The Viewers section is displayed.
  9. Click the Export files and viewer(s) radio button, and select the Quick Viewer check box.

    Advanced Viewer

    The Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Advanced Viewer is exported along with the images. All images are exported as DICOM files.

    Quick Viewer

    The Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer is exported along with the images. All images are exported as .jpeg files.

  10. Under the Auto-Start on CD media section, specify whether the viewer is automatically started when the CD is inserted into the CD drive.

    Note: This option is available only if the CD ROM destination is selected from the Export Location field.

  11. Click the Files & Formats tab. The Files & Formats page is displayed.
  12. Specify whether to export reports and/or voice clips, by selecting or clearing the corresponding check boxes.

    Note: The contents of this tab can be modified only if you are exporting the Quick Viewer.

  13. Click the Options tab. The Options page is displayed.
  14. Optionally, you may perform any of the following tasks:
  15. Click the down arrow beside the Export Location field, and then select one of the following destination drives:

    Destination

    Description

    Floppy Disk Drive

    This option is listed, but is not recommended.

    M.O. Disk Drive

    This is a Magneto-Optical (MO) drive that may be located on the workstation.

    Local Hard Disk directory

    This is a folder on the workstation hard drive.

    Shared Network directory

    This is a folder on a shared network hard drive.

    CD ROM

    This is a disc burning drive. The following types of discs may be burned.

    Other

    You may specify where the study images and viewer are exported to:

    1. Click the down arrow beside the Export Location field, and then select Other. The Browse for Folder dialog box is displayed.
    2. Select the directory to export the study to, and then click OK. The destination has been defined.

    For example, you may export study images and the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer to a folder on a USB flash memory drive.

  16. Note: All destinations except for Other are configured by McKesson Service personnel. The available destinations and their names may differ from the destinations listed in this section.

  17. Optionally, in the Optional Subdirectory field, enter the path of a subdirectory.

    Note: The Optional Subdirectory field is disabled if either of the following destinations have been selected:

    • CD ROM
    • Other
  18. Click Export. The Export progress indicator is displayed, showing the progress of the export process. When the export is complete, a message is displayed.
  19. Click OK. The study images and the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer are copied to the destination you specified in step 14. See Exported files and folders.
