What is the Quick Viewer
This section describes the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer, one of the two viewers provided by the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc application.
The purpose of the application is to enable you to:
- Export study images and information from your Horizon Rad Station™ workstation to removable media or a folder accessible from another workstation.
The purpose of the viewer is to display these study images and information on a workstation that cannot access the Horizon Rad Station™ application.
Typically, the viewer is used if you want to view study images at home, where you cannot access the Horizon Rad Station™ application.
Note: Horizon Medical Imaging™ may not provide multilingual support, depending on its configuration. If HMI multilingual support is not available in your medical institution, follow the relevant instructions that describe how to use the English version of the HMI.

Two types of Horizon Rad Station™ Disc viewers
There are two types of Horizon Rad Station™ Disc viewers:
- Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Advanced Viewer
- Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Quick Viewer
Both viewers are portable. They may be copied to removable media such as CD.

A Web browser based viewer that allows you to view study images and patient information. It provides the following features:

- Use on any computer that has a Web browser.

A Windows® based viewer that extends the basic functionality of the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Advanced Viewer. It provides the following features:
- View the following items:
- Listen to
- Zoom and pan DICOM images
- Work with display protocols
- Modify DICOM images by:
- Adding to a study image
- Modifying the of a study image

Note: Modifications made to study images are discarded when the study is closed

- Set preferences that configure:
- Which icons are displayed on the main toolbar
- Which options are available when you right click an image
- Whether Power Scrolling is enabled

- Define user shortcuts (See the Horizon Rad Station™ Disc Advanced Viewer User's Guide)
